This is a dark and dreary ( even spooky) area and the paintings cheer it up. Not only are the painters talented artists but they are talented at getting beyond the barbed wire

The colour of the light in the background is a clue to where this was taken

A famous place worldwide on Granville Street

Across from Yaletown is Granville Island and on the island amongst all the beautiful artistic creations sold there and the fabulous farmers market is the cement factory. 

Save-on-Meats is an interesting place and recently in the news so I thought those of you that are not in Vancouver might enjoy a shot of it. It's part of the neon world of Vancouver.
