This is not in a  junk yard but I don't think we'll be seeing it on the streets again unless it's attached to a
tow truck.

I have no idea what this is but loved the beautiful deep orange of the rust.

The faded awning was probably an indicator it wouldn't survive which after many years it did not

We have had a series of days with weather inversions so blue skies / black clouds / fog swirling around.
This was the view on the seawall near yaletown yesterday. Just around the corner it was blue skies.

Like an abstract the reflections look like different things to different people. To me these look like totem poles.

When exiting a downtown parkade you will find this "window" cut out of the wall.
It doesn't improve visibility of the sidewalk ahead but for some reason it is there and they painted the frame yellow to ensure you notice it.

Until recently there was an impound yard under the north side of the Granville street bridge.
One day I poked my head over the railing and noticed this truck below. It was in such a position that all I could do was hang my camera over the side, shoot and hope for the best.
The plate reads 1973 but this truck is older than that. What a life it must have led and what it must have "seen".

Even now Granville street looks like it is the 1950's. One corner with so much going on in a time warp

This is in a little alcove of a swanky building. It's a puzzle why it has been neglected but I find beauty in the neglected and love the colours.

This is the Orpheum on Granville Street. Until this day I never looked up and was pleasantly surprised at the architectural detail. The neon is just another piece of the 50's style that is all along this street.
